yus that is one enormous bass. Colossal. Hope the muddies are running lekker this weekend , wildfly series 'in search of the african giant muddy part 3'. Lol. 40 or 50 muddies should do it for the morning run. Yus i check ol standies is klaping 3deg c tonight. Winter is indeed upon us.

Seriously consider using a landing net and keeping your catch in the net, in the water, while capturing your memories by way of picture. If not that, you can balance the net on some water grass. Those beauts you caught have very fragile skins and every nick, cut, scrape and more importantly, any damage to the slime coat covering the fish can cause serious infection and even death, something I'm sure you'd rather avoid.

Enjoy the fishing and the outdoors, leave nothing, take away only your enjoyment and memories.

Just a personel note with some info so no fuss.
someone might complain about the fish being damaged on the rock and hot rocks damage a fish even more. if you have to use rock to take a pic look for a flat rock and wet it to cool it down first. welldone on your catches
