I bought mine at a local store in Bloem (Kloppers)R3250.I know cost on them is R2700icl so their markup was low.I can ask the guy i know to quote me on a 3wt if you want?Its a fantastic fantasic rod for the money.The sage vxp and tfo i looked at are way too stiff to fish properly(although goodf for nymphing).If the stcroix was r4000 i would have imported a z-axis blank kit and built myself for r2800.Let me know.

Hey man, its been concerning. Id say ive fished it more lately than most other ff-erman and have spent a fair wack on accommodation etc. There has definately been a contamination of sorts. I say this because even the Seagulls wont eat the millions of dead prawns. That said, there seem to be some small Leeries around. Your best bet is to walk left after you go over the bridge and fish it at either a low tide or on a low push to get to the channel... I like Leftys deceivers tied grey over white with a red eye and some red for gills with a single grizzly hackle on each side. Small leeries will eat poppers and flippers too. Go pure white on a surface lure. If i was you id work my way to the deepest looking channel, put on your inter and your biggest fly and just flog away.. you never know. Remember a line tray or stripping basket, especially with your inter

I'll be there the week after easter, so early April, not sure if that is too late in the season? Also seems it will be hard to find other rivers fishable in only 5 weeks time.

To be honest, that was first trip to Sterkfontein.. However, the fishing was tough but I landed a few. We were a group of 16 and 80% of the chaps didn't catch at all.. I'll see if I can find one or two guides for you.. A guide by the name of Ian Couryer and Dave Weaver rings a bell.. But I'll see what I can find for you.. If you could be more specific with dates and I am free, perhaps I could show you around..

Having a boat too is extremely helpful.. It's a huge mass of water, so I'm not sure if that is your intention?
