Hi Pierre, have you had any luck finding out which species to target in winter around CT? I know there are a few Steamers around from False bay to Struis baai. Orange a d black worked for me last year. Caught a small steenie at Blakes on a medium spongebob with an orange bead collar. Kob should be around. You can try a steve Austin fly in the foam for blacktail and hotties too. Clousers always works, plain white or white and grey. I am also from SW and always keen to get a line wet. Let me know if you want to explore the area, we can always meet up somewhere.

Pierre, hi, I have ordered 2x fly boxes for the Bonanza flies from C THOMAS one of the forumers. 1 Box for Flytalk, the other for a lucky tier to be allocated at a later date. Also will be having 2x plaques made for both boxes, most probably the shield type found on trophies, FLYTALK 2011 FLY TYING BONANZA. Can the tyers send their flies to you/admin to arrange in the boxes readying it to be sent to winner. The other box is Fty talks, to keep or allocate to another winner. Iwill also pay these postage fees. Let me know pls.
