Mario,you dont perhaps have some guides for a 4 and 5 wt rod that you dont use,even cheap stuff.I got 2 batson blanks that i wwant to build and that all i still need.

Hi Frederick - nothing yet. Got some other issues to deal with at the moment. Sick and worrying about a possible 5th member to the family!!!!

I went to Gani's. Unfortunately, there were no Magnetic net releases.I am going there again in a weeks time. I will pop round to them again and see if they have any stock.

I ended up not buying the stealth extreme #3. Will see if they have it next week if I am there. If it is there I will buy it.

James, I won't say there is a total lack of fishing pressure. The more "well-known" beats are fished a lot (Boarman's, Gateshead, Balloch etc), but the fact that there will always be something special (even if the fishing is down) on any of the beats here makes for a very special experience indeed.

And just to mention - within 1 hours radius (drive) of Rhodes, there is about 350km of STREAM and RIVER fishing available!!!!

Maybe its just a phase, who knows. But i certainly have not seen or heard too much of that area, only tales from elders and photo's from people such as yourself. I for one will certainly be making a trip there next year! And i'm sure more will follow, because it looks truely beautiful!
I know you are a guide so your answer could be a tad biased, but surely its the lack of pressure and people that makes the area so special?
