    The sockeye fight extremely hard especially when they are in clear streams like that. They also spend a lot of time in the air. You just hope that they run upstream...
    The biggest issue is if there are other fishermen which there were that day. You have to really play them hard so that they don't get in the way of other fishermen. I caught that on a TFO #7 but with a very decent reel. I did make the mistake of using 14lb which was a bit of a joke. I went straight the fishing shop the next day and got 25lb.
