Mike,

The fishing was tough Sat and Sunday, fish were spawning suffering from PMS. Barend is still there till Tuesday. Weather was good fish were scarce, what fish we found were not feeding. Some sporadic hatches of some sort had the fish on flash feeds but we couldnt match.

Hmmmm...good stuff. All I need to hear is the fish still around, and the weather is good.
I know where and how to catch them...

First tip: Chuck all those Good Dr's Beetles away...it must be the k@kkest fly to use at Sterkies.

Hi Guys,
Had a tough weekend. We all managed fish but was not easy going. Had some heart pounding moments with high cliffs and single fish feeding on scum-lines. That really does it for me!!!!
Got a bit peeved off with the Tourette guys rocking up and fishing literally right next to us at the one spot....ethics???

Only consolation was landing a few fish with them blanking and moving off...
