Just make sure your liver is strong and your fly box full of mustard caddis and black nymphs.

P.S. Don't you dare be late at my place like Bryan was last year.
It's not in the catching, it's in the learning something new.

The tying has started in ernest.

12 control flies in different weights and colours ( 6 x Olive red humpies, in 2 different sizes, 6 x mustard humpies in 2 different sizes ),
    6 rockworms, ( # 14 , 3 in olive and 3 in chartreuse. )

And that is just the start.

Less than 2 weeks to go now.

Training session at GVP tomorrow, and then another one next weekend at a venue still to be decided, then Thursday 11th we should be there by 08:00 the latest.

    And let the fishing begin.

Spoke to Corefly ( John Gavin ) today. He reports water temps at around 15.5 deg for the last weekend.

With a bit of sun I'm hoping they will reach the magis 18 - 20 for the festival., especially with the reduced flows.

9 days to go and counting. WHOOOOOHHHHHOOOO.:biggrin:

Sam, pleased to see you remembered the black nymphs.

I've got some more mustard caddis to tie, and this year I want to add a few Copper Johns in different colours, to the box.

I hope that I will then have enough flies.

If not, I will just raid your, Nick's, Bryan's, Dion's and John's boxes. I know from experience that you all sleep like the dead, so it shouldn't be too difficult.

P.S. DON"T forget the Windhoek Draught.

Bryan, Dion & I are leaving the Vuildriehoek at 04:00 on Thursday, so should be on the water at beat 1 by 08:30 at the latest.
