    what helped me, when casting and the strains that are associated on the wrist, is to slow down the casting action.

    Yes, you donnt get the tight text book loops, a slightly larger loop, with a slower casting action, places a lot less stress on the body. And a lot less taxing on the physical side, especially after a long day fishing.

    I'm busy going through the motions by trying to "construct" the ultimate DIY casting aide. All my versions have worked thus far, it's a matter of getting it 100% right and not just 99%. :wink:
