Die viz is so 1-2m!

Selfde taktiek?

Die viz hier by ons is gewoonlik so .4m tot 1m.

Jy gaan nou so R700 vir 'n nuwe een betaal.

You missed out on Gerrit's auction. (I even "plugged" it for him, since it is a great net).

I think you might find @ Solly's, else Mias does stock.

Yes - they are not cheap, but have a properly accurate scale and are built to last a lifetime.

    Indeed that is true.

I once lost a Mclean at GVP while nymphing ... I just turned around to grab it when I needed to net a fish and voila, the magnetic clip had somehow pulled loose and the net was gone.

I was nymphing GVP again about 4 months later and hooked onto something on the bottom, usual desnagging tehniques didn't work, so waded over and found my control fly stuck to the mesh of a net, which so happened to be my net, which I had lost there 4 months before, with the corresponding magnetic clip and carabiner I had hooked onto it and everything.

Cleaned it up, tested, works fine and aside from some smallish stains on the neck of the net, you wouldn't know it had been submitted to that kind of torture.

That is truly an amazing story! What is the chances of the same person fishing GVP twice in four months!
