Mario, I really don't know how to explain cause it's not a given i.e the delaying. Sometimes if you wait too long it's over fish gone and other times you're too quick like in that first strike I had. I was seriously in the zone at that time so any movement on the line I just gooid i.e strike and that caused me to lose the fish or rather not getting a proper hook up. I struck with the big fish too when the line moved and it stuck so it's really not as simple as 123.
I guess to give you the answer ito % I would say rather wait too long than strike too quick. Wait for the line to continuously move for say 10cm then strike. (I'm talking floating lines here sinking lines obviously differ cause you can't do anything other than feel)
