    Default Natal yellowfish

I want to plan a trip to catch some natal scalies. Would mid april be late enough? Or is the water still too dirty and high then?

    Thanks

After the low rain fall have had of late, mid April would be perfect. But it all depends on the river and location, so please share?

I usualy start my excusions for them the same time of the year on the Bushmans, but its below the dam which acts as a bit of a buffer.

Thanks thats good info, I want to head to Zulu waters or some other places on the bushmans. I want to make a road trip with my wife where we sleep a few nights at a place and then move on to the next. Any suggestions would be great. As its supposed to be a relaxing holiday I dont want to go too rustic on her.

    Im already getting terribly excited!

Gents, I have never fished for scaly either and would love some info on locations to target them. I am based in Durban.

Zulu Waters looks like a really nice venue! How is the fishing there?

My dad lives in Howick and I keep looking at the Umgeni flowing above the falls (if you are coming into Howick along the R103 (Prospect Road) you look down onto the river on the left and it looks good. Anyone know what the fishing is like there? I have never spotted anyone fishing there.
