Richard at Urban has the Whisperer 10ft 5# at R 970.00.

I bought the 10ft 6# on Tuesday and am very impressed with the performance of the rod on Wednesday. It does everything that I want it to.

    Go have a look

The reason I got the 6# is that it has a fighting but. I will be using this rod not only for SM yellows, but for LM and Barbell as well.

That is how confident I am in this stick.

BTW, Richard offers a 1 year, no questions asked , full replacement guarantee, as long as stocks last.

Is that the featherlite rod you talking about? Checked one out at ganis today, will be my next buy! Please give us a short review on it

Yes it is the Featherlite, and I am now truly sold on this stick.

It handled my PB yellow and PB Muddie today with aplomb.

I reckon with this 6# I cam conquer any fish on the Vaal. The backbone as well as the flexibility of the top half make bringing the big boys in easy.
