Anyone with experience in that area? Which of the streams would be the better to target yellows in late summer? Groot rivier, Jan Dissels, Krom,Driehoek or Doring? Have been to the doring but mostly cought sm bass. Planning a weekend to target yellows exclusively. Any advice would be appreciated as well as any accomodation or camp site info from where these areas are accessible.
Thanks

This is an endangered species, I agree with Korrie! Local extinctions will most likely take place in our lifetime...
Good luck in your quest for this information.
Best bet for someone in your position, without any particular contacts to get you into the sought after spots, would be to fish below the dam wall, between Bullshoek and Clanwilliam dams, but again, plenty of bass to frustrate you. Plenty of accommodation in the area, Geko Creek backpackers is great. As Korrie says, the information that you looking for, in terms of the best spots, is not going to be given up easily by the people who have worked long and hard in accumulating their experience.
Cape Province nature Conservation, have given the Clanwilliam yellowfish an "endangered" official status, although it is listed as vulnerable, so it is actually illegal to catch these species, even for catch and release, so perhaps better that they be left alone.

True. That info is sacred. Will explore and see how it goes. Thanks for the advice Andre.
Lovely camp site, for some a bit spartan, but I have camped there a lot. Love the place.
Fishing can be great for Clans and Bass.
Down stream of the camp, the stream forms lots of braids.
If you are lucky, the Clans can be there. But if you are unlucky, nobody knows where they disapear to.
Definitely worth the trip.
Upstream, the river goes into a kloof. Lots of walking and if you are lucky, you will find the fish.
Be prepared to do lots of walking. But worth it, even if it is only for the big bass you will catch.
If you are lucky, you will get good Clanwilliams as well (but luck plays a big part)
