New venue
Hi All,
With limited fly fishing opportunity here in the WC, we have sourced a new dam, the preliminary stocking permit was approved and we hope to have fish in the dam soon when the permit is issued. The dam is close to the Northern suburbs, Stellenbosch, Somerset West. 3.5 Hectares surface area and up to 13m deep when full, lined with weed beds on the one side and inlet area and clear water. Also away from the road in a scenic area. Enough shore fishing spots and can also be tubed.
It will be run on a limited membership basis of which the details will be made available soon. We will also use it for fly fishing clinics and tuition. If you are interested, please send me a pm/e-mail and I will arrange a viewing of the dam. Below is an image.
