    Default Leader/tippet gauge?

    Hi guys

    I phoned all local shops for the above but no one seems to have.I know Darryl posted a year or two back that he was selling one.
    Does anyone have a spare i can buy off them>

    Did u phone Frontiers they normally stock one by Fishpond I use one now and then too.

    I have never been quite sure why a leader or tippet guage is needed. Surely all the information is on the spool.

    You cut a leader shorter (remember our little conversation the other day?) and oops you dunno the diameter anymore a gauge works great in this instance.

    For me R400 is out of my budget and shipping is R130 so WOW cant afford R530

    I agree... especially for something quite so unnecessary. Like paying R530 to have t1ts fitted to your bull.
