shoe glue as a silicone substitute?
I had some shoe glue kicking around which I have been using while making windon leaders for R&S. It just looked like it could have some cool uses in fly tying. Ok my saltwater tying skills leave a lot to be desired but you get the idea. Just wondering if anyone else has tried this. It seems to be a good replacement for silicone. Also its MUCH easier to add the eyes as it is a contact adhesive.

An honest fisherman is a pretty uninteresting person.
Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and not only is he hungry but broke for the rest of his life as well.
