Default Explorer STX 5.6wt Reel body

Howsit all? Long time since i posted on the forum but have been popping in to see if all is well.

I am looking for a reel body for the reel mentioned above. I broke my drag screw through my own ignorance and now need a replacement body. Any chances of having one lying around, please pm me. Many thanks.

Try Richard from Urban Flyfishers. i think I saw one of these lying on his dining room table this weekend in his half price sale. Could be wrong but worth a try...

    Hi ET

I have an STX 5/6 that was dropped. The body cage is now out-of-round and is thus worthless as a reel. You are welcome to it if you can salvage the bits that you need. PM me if interested.....

I collected the reel yesterday and started to strip it. The idea is to build up a reel and give it to a newby who just received a basic fly kit but without a reel. Thank you Ian. You are a scholar and a gentleman.
