the Monster Frog

I had a lot of fun tying / building this "thing" after good success I had fishing a topwater frog on one of my favorite ponds. It casts a bit like half a brick but I have since caught my PB largemouth bass with it, a 21 incher. It's tied on a 10/0 longshank stainless steel hook and has a spring-loaded piano wire weedguard which works a treat. The body is closed-cell foam in black. with my 9wt setup I can cast (more like lob) it around 12m which seems to be sufficient
