Default Best battery for trolling motor?

I have to replace my trolling motor battery.
    Any suggestions/advice/recommendations?

I've got a Royal deep cycle that's still going strong after 5 plus years. It was quite a bit cheaper than the Delkor batteries everyone was raving about at the time (I think they come from the same factory). I used it on my big boat as well as my small inflatable.

Not sure what they cost now, but bound to not be a cheap exercise!

    Lo Korrie,

I bought the Enertec Eco Premuim, which I'm very happy with. Hook it up to a CTEK charger when not in use. What trolling motor have you got and on what craft are you using it? What size (Ah) is the battery?

    Regards,
    Sam.

    Hi Gerrit,

I bought this Enertec, 70 Ah from Outdoor Warehouse in Pietermaritzburg. Price was R1300 and R990 for the charger. Bought a white Watersnake Venom SXW 34/30 from Gani's in Witbank at R1900. Use it on Xplorer XPT pontoon kickboat and have it mounted in the front. Works well.

    Regards,
    Sam.
