Sun gloves

Hi All

Browsing through photos on the FB forums I am noticing a trend I do not fully understand. People are wearing sun gloves with rolled up sleeves. Am I missing the point of the gloves? Are they not for the purpose of protecting your hands from the sun?

Maybe it is like me my legs can be in the sun no problem, but if I walke barefoot in the sun I get sunburn feet

This is just as smart as the lumberjacks I see fishing the WC streams all the time (we need a bandit emoji)

Thought as much, do not see it serving a purpose other than looking the part if you have your sleeves rolled up.

Haha, on a serious note - I dont like sungloves. I rather use SPF 50 sunscreen.

I see people handling fish with those gloves and I always think it must take off a lot of the protective slime on the fish - for freshwater fish anyway.

Even more strange to me are the guys out there wearing buffs pulled up over their faces and heads, but then not even wearing a shirt.... Granted they mainly heaven bait fisherman, but still makes me giggle...

I mainly use gloves for added grip. Secondly for sunburn.
