Hi Korrie, seems that Kamberg was not that great...?
Serious question. Is it worth it to fish a festival? Overcrowded waters, quite expensive to attend. Or is it more about the social event and less about the fishing?
Any forumers attended the Kamberg festival?
From the photos I have seen, it looks like the fishing was GREAT.
Any Photos?/??

I heard good feedback about the the fishing. and seen the odd photo on FB.
I like the festivals.
You get to meet a lot of new people.
If you are clever and keep the contacts, it opens so many new fishing areas and venues for you.
Some of the festivals are a bit expensive, but it leaves some much better fishing as a "legacy"
As most waters are stocked for the festival, a week or 4 afterwards, the crowds have left and the fishing picks up.
In some waters, the stocking policy is geared too the festivals, and are properly done, with a long term plan 3 to 4 years.
They stock fingerlings and manage the waters. so by year 3 or 4, you have beatiful WILD fish. plus all the sizes from fingerling to the big old fish.
The social side is great as well.
