    Try the Solesaver or similar. Runners use it on their running shoes to extend the life of the running shoe soles.

    I apply this to the toes and heels of my normal wading boots as well and extends the life of the soles by 2 years or so

    When I started fly fishing about 25 years ago, I made my own felt soled boots from Steel Cap safety boots

    On Bid or buy the safetyboots are R325.00
    Perhaps look at the safety boots, the steel caps protects your toes as well
    a set of these boots lasted me about 2 seasons.

    Nice one Korrie
    I remember when I started fishing I took old tekkies and glued carpet to the soles. It only lasted 2 outings and only the glue stayed behind but it worked.
    Just one more cast.......... make it count ...........
