Ponta do Ouro, Mozambique

Hi guys, will be in Ponta do Ouro in December. Does anyone have some previous experience there? Also really keen to try fly off a boat on a shallow reef, any recommendations?

Hi Marc

I fished there quite a number of times from the shore only. I used to walk from Ponto Malongane to Do Ouro & fish along the way. Lot's of fish in the surf and heaps of fun. I also fished Ponta Mamoli. Caught GT's, Threadfin and Wave Garrick mainly. Have not fished there for a few years as I now live in Oz. Good luck, I am sure it will be good over the reefs.
