    Also great video footage.
As mentioned in clip, there are various ways to catch the Dorado.
Surface mousing, Surface streamers, swinging streamers and then casting to structure and stripping.

The really big factor is rain and level of rivers and marshes. Because the rivers can rise and drop more than 4 meters, it can influence the type of fishing you will or can do during your visit.
At Piracua Lodge, the rivers where high, but the water marks on the trees on the banks showed that it could rise more. All the side channels where the size of the Vaal flowing at 50cumecs. As the water drops and gets clearer, the side channels becomes clear streams.
Remember when watching the video clips, they always post the best of hours and hours of video footage.

I have learnt so much from the guides on my Dorado trip that will be applicable to bass, salt water and still water trout fishing.
Just the different strips and using different strips around structure was a HUGE EYE OPENER. using these techniques in the sea around rocks etc will make a big difference or fishing for bass on the Breede. Or for trout on still waters where you know there is structure.

Another great option that I have seen is where you stay on mother ship and the mother ship cruises up the Parana river and you stop along the way and fish from smaller skiffs.

PS: another amazing trick was how they got the flies off from trees and structure

One bummer is you fly in to Argentina on international weights 23 or 25kg luggage.
But the internal flights are 15kg.
Little penalty on every flight from there.
I kicked up a little fuss and ended up paying on 2 of the 4 internal flights and only 50% of the penalty each time.

Another point to ponder on is that a lot of the guides and lodges have full kits available for rental or for free use.(Check on this as it could save you lots of space and the odd penalty.
It might not be your specific brand that you prefer, but most of the times it is top of the range kit.
