Independent Car Hire

G'day fella's,

Hey, anyone know of independent car hire places in the Randburg general vicinity.
Looking at getting a 4x4 for about 60 days rental and would like to help out the smaller places first if possible.

Preferably diesel and must have a tow bar.

I have tried the rental companies and have quotes etc.

Appreciate any help.

The problem with small independent 4x4 companies is that they might not have the back up in the bundus.
And that is where you require it.
I would stick with AVIS or similar.

The past Sunday, walking out of Elandspad. There is a little Hyndai i10 just outside of the tunnel and 2 people sitting next to car.
I knew something was wrong, walked up to them and asked if they are waiting for someone or a breakdown?
Breakdown they said. Car stopped completely at exit of tunnel and they pushed it 50 meters out of tunnel.
I saw they are foreigners. WHITE SKIN with a touch of pink from the sun.
AVIS rental car. We phoned and I waited with them and about 30 minutes later a replacement car arrives. NO PROBLEM.
