Vaalriver - where to fish

Good day guys, where can I go for largies on the vaal upriver ( meaning upriver from the barrage ) from the vanderbyl/sebokeng mess?

I Fish from an Ark otter. Any venue/friend/farmer that can be recommended ?

I have spent yet another day downriver of Parys hunting largemouth Yellows - nada, not even any fish surfacing! Or insect life around.

The Vaal Barrage Reservoir website has a link to the water quality of the Barrage system, it's a weekly report.
