Vaal River fishing lately

Has anyone caught some sm or LM yellows on the vaal and where lately?

Hoe how is the water clarity and quality.

I got some leave in Feb and plan some trips to the river in the week. anyone around looking for a fishing buddy?

Went to fish a venue on the vaal today, just before Parys on the JNB side.
Don’t even bother. The river is dead. Hardly any sign of life, not even ducks around.
All the green algae and slime around will need a proper flush
It makes me angry to see the damage caused by their government.
