Vaal Weekend Flow Rate
Hi there! Can anyone access the www.reservoir.co.za site and forward me the latest flow rate below the Barrage. Im planning on going there this weekend and cannot access the site (says I got no AUTHORIZATION!). Heard rumours that they might up the flow over the weekend.

Ha! An insider! See the flow is 16 cumens at Shoemans. I dont think they will up the flow to 60 or 80 yet as the barrage is 93% full with the Vaal dam at 63% and an outflow of 22. I dont see the need to release water as yet but come the first rains they are sure to empty the barrage a bit.

No let me correct: Of course there is a need among us flyfishers to wash the snot away but water management wise it wouldnt be bright...
