Hi Guys, Looking at this post now and have just realised I have access to roughly 3km riverfront on the Hennops just before Laudium. Do you think it might be worth it to give it a try?

I've fished the streams/rivers round there extensively in the past and caught many fish especially yellows and barbel on fly. Now, sadly, access is denied to most. I'd love to come along with you to have a look. Firstly, hopefully we could work our if and where there are any fish and secondly it'd be great to see an unspoilt bit of stream around here.
Are you coming to join us all on Sunday on the Vaal? It should be fun fishing and a good social day as well.

Access is not a problem. That piece of river is still unspoilt as there's even still vervet monkeys and a fair amount of game.
