Hang on a second boet. There's really no need to get all childish and resort to insults. I'm going to ignore the childish and insulting part of your post and will simply say this:

Nobody is saying that the line isn't expensive. Of course it is expensive.

But you continue to tell all and sundry that it is "Overpriced".

Now what I am asking you is how you come to a conclusion that something is "overpriced", without any basis for comparison ??

If you had fished whatever line you fish with, and then tried this line and felt it was only 10% better than the one you have, yet costs double the price, then by all means say it is overpriced.

Look at what other guys have said, having actually tried this line. Its not just another flyline with some gimmicky marketing hype surrounding it. It is a revolutionary piece of equipment.

If I, having actually fished with one, had to tell you that this line is at least twice as good as any other line I have ever used, provided it lasts as well as the others, then is it overpriced ? Considering my GPX line is around R550.00 and the Sharkskin R950.00, provided I get at least the same life out of it, I reckon it is actually pretty well priced. Hence I say, yes its expensive, but its not overpriced.

Boet, this is a public forum, best you keep the insults to pm.

Read through the other post carefully, you were actually lucky you got a response from Shaun and not one of the other notorious forum members (bless them), so be nice boet!

Dude, if I were you, I'd stop wasting my money on ANY form of fishing tackle and book myself into some Adult Basic Education classes.

I dont want to diss the shark line (as the read up sound very good) but geeee wiskerzzzz they are over priced If and when the price comes down I might think about it but until then Ill be catching fish with the regular fly line thats half the price and still catches fish.

Read I'm not dissing the line I'm just saying its to pricey and I have the right to. I will not and have not the money to buy this line I would on the other hand pay R2000 odd on a new rod as it is worth it. Having said this it is Friday and Shaun you are right this is childish nice picture though

    Michael,

Taper lines have fused streamlined loops on BOTH ends of the line!
I have never used fused loops before does the leader not cut into the loop or is it made from a harder material.
