Get a friend to catch a nice, thin, fish on fly that doesn't have too much meat to clean off...

A nice, clean, well- mounted fish skeleton.
A kitchy plastic cast that looks nothing like the real fish...
Hi there guys,
our second year Ichthy project involved building a fish skeleton and mounting it. It was a lot of work, but also a lot of fun! Great way to learn how a fish works and where all it's bones are.
I will post one picture a day, step by step...

I cannot vote on the above poll since I'm in two about this subject...
One, the bones also looks nothing like the catch, no colour, no "weight" (volume, substance, etc.), no life, dead. Unless you have a beaut of a photo there is no way that you will be able to remember/show off the magnificent colours as it came out of the water (for instance a Tigerfish, etc.)
Plastic on the other hand, I might as well go and have it done before I even catch the "real deal", it seems so fake, like you got it out of a lucky packet.
I don't know, maybe you can help shed some light on this with the step by step and finish with a well presented complete "trophy", even if it is only for arguments sake to just show us what it could be like?
Anyway, here's looking forward to the next few days posts!
Thanks, I think one would only be able to vote once some pics of the finished product are up, But i'll do it step by step first, just for fun!
here's one more, and then I'm going to run out of bandwidth!!!
Clean the fins (as best you can without them falling apart), thread some wire through the spine and boil the flesh off. Keep the head for another afternoon...
