i was not able to get out on the weekend .although i sulked all of sunday because of the awsome conditions.
just to get some feedback:

cj. :- were your fish on top in the belly of the pool over midday period or were there fish in the current tongues behind the ridge around midday?did you take that muddie floating the klinky over a pod lying close to the surface?

gaza : how much action did you see on your pool on sunday between 1-3 pm

Yip, that was me! I was the one fishing that slow back water off that ridge. The fat dude was my friend (tried to help him but.......ja). I smacked 2 yellows in that pool on a Klinky and 3 more in the top pool also on a Klinky. The muddie was caught early that morning where those two baities where sitting. Where you that guy in the tube or the one in the cano?

no -i wasn't on the river this weekend but fished that spot last thursday evening(got 11) so i just wanted to know if there is any action during the day. were your fish all cruisers?

Ja.......all cruisers, you could actually see them nosing the surface. They were after the small white new "born" may's.

Okey Dokey, time for a Vaal Winter trip for the not so woosies.
2 dates available: 28 June or 6 July.
All are welcome however we need flotation craft as well as a venue. ( Within 11/2hrs drive from Jhb.) My venue seems to suck

I'm gonna have to pass on this one,if it was a month later I would've been there.I haven't fished in like 2 months and only started tying 2 weeks back,still waiting on some materials from the States,almost there.
