Exactly - leave the 15lb difficult trophy 'bow to be chased by all the yuppies, and rather go the easy 2lb stockies and catch your limit early...

Stockies are easy, rather grab a granny, she thinks it's her last.

I seem to recall that has always been Wayne Rooney's philosophy - wrong choice of word - I think he'd need a brain as a prerequisite to having a philosophy?

Well, gents and lady, I seem to have succumbed to a pretty nasty virus - and no ways can it be attributed to having sex with anyone or anything...Anyway I'm at home feeling weak and miserable - just for a change...

    Highlights of the weekend:
Lions 2 point going-over of the Sharks
Herman and Schloess getting beaut SM's (smallmouth yellowfish not Senegalese maidens)
Korrie's nymphing course - sounds like great fun and an excellent learning experience.
Lowlights of the weekend - Chiefs and Chelsea both losing, and my getting a severe case of the trots at one ayem this morning, and I didn't even gulp any Vaalwater on any drifts! Oom Bill running out of Windhoek Draught - OK I was driving home anyway.
Guys still going on about NZ rigs and strike indicators...

Hey Chris, sorry to hear you are not well.

Could it have been the 10 or so ladies that Bernie invited for tea & a chat on Sunday afternoon, that "drove" you to seek peace at Gills ??????

Or was it submerging yourself in the deep end of the pool, pretending to be a caddis, in it's various stages of developement.

It's not in the catching, it's in the learning something new.

I had to venture out to the "Wild West"/Krugersdorp this last Friday night, and of course if you drive out that way, Gils pub is a must. I didn't have much time to spend there, but as I was leaving, lo and behold I bumped into Lardo. Indeed a most peculiar place to see him. Anyways he's frightfully fit and at least hes not stuck sans an airplane south southeast of Chad somewhere. I did mention that hes most conspicuous in his absence, lets see if he resurfaces.........
