howzit dewald....seems so mc and jono arent commenting yet...

that is going to be be difficult to cast.i have tried something similar.maybe try the foam bodys you can purchase in the shops..

the gape of the hook isnt wide enough for my liking....and im not a fan of circle hooks....

but a couple of minor adjustments and you could have a winner
stephen is wishing he was fishing location x right now.......

Nice looking popper. Gonna need some serious rod and at least a 500g line to launch that puppy. If you're from the Cape maybe the wind in your back will help. Otherwise high probability of rotator cuff issues!

I like the Owner hooks, they are awesome and work one time. Have tried them on some Gurglers, but need a short foam tail extension to compensate for the heavy hook wire. Otherwise it been all in the mouth!

Deewy I like the look of this. I'm no popper expert, but perhaps the hole made through the cork could be more towards the side, as opposed to straight tthrough the middle, to try and increase the gape between the hook and the "belly" of the cork? Would this change the action of the popper? Or would this make the cork maore likely to break up?
