Very very lekka trip. Stunning place with so much potential. The viz was alot better than I though it would be, with the fast flowing sections quite clear. Will be awesome in summer. There is realy some awsome sections there with no-one in site.

Exept for given Roland and Terance a moerse fright and turning them into 3 year olds the farmer is a hell of a nice guy. I for one will definately go back there and can't wait for the summer. This is my kinda place and where I can see myself packing the bakkie for a quick weekend quite often as its not that far away.

The fishing was hard, but was to be expected. Luckily for me while the other okes were thinking about pitching tents I went fishing and managed to land one within about 3 casts. 10 min later it was pitch black and I stumbled happily back to camp. The second one only came later the next day after some hard fishing. I did however miss quite a few bump's along the way. I need to learn to strike harder with yellows than what Im used to with trout.

Lekka quite there at night with only nature to listen to. (Oh and Roland and Dewalds snoring that I could still hear about 150m away in my tent on the bakkie roof). I think they even scared away the leopard.

Thanks Dewald and LeRoy for putting it together. Was great listening to the farting competions and all the k@k praat around the fire.

If you're fly fishing as though you are 'in a contest', and the only objective is to 'catch fish' - you are missing the point .... and that is disappointing

"Fly fishing is for those who hold that the fun in the race of life is in the running, not just the winning, that existence is its own justification, that a day spent in a stream or a pond with a goal in mind is a joy even if the goal is not achieved."

    Hey guys

Thanx for posting my fish LeRoy. My internet has been very up to sh!t lately and I struggle to get onto my photobucket.

The fishing was very tough as we expected but non the less the fish was there and seeing that it was in flood about 2 weeks ago it might have made the yellows just relocate for time being or they are at the bottom of the deep pools.

We will be back in avengance on them and this time there will be more than just 3 yellows to show for the weekend. We where all on high hopes after morne landed his first yellow within his first 3 casts of us getting there.

The campside stories where the best and we shared some good laughs.

As soon as my photobucket is up and running I will post some scenery and one or two fish pics.

The pleasure is all ours morne, next time we will go better prepared in certain areas and less prepared in other
