I'll probably come past with the missus for a biertjie...

So long as I dont have to watch Grant tie a booly wugger... Why dont you make the fly tiers sweat a bit... make them tie something like an ultra lifelike silicone and epoxy redfin minnow incorporating a rattle and a pop lip... with shortened gill plates...

Looking forward to have a ale with you. Mr. Kieser will probably do his infamous Hunchback.

    Cheers

    Default Thanks

    Hi Philip,

Just a quick thanks for organising the event. Although we didn't catch anything it was great to meet some of the guys and even though I had to leave just after the fishing comp I enjoyed it thoroughly! I still can't believe the size of some of the Tilapia in the bottom dam - they are monsters!

    Many thanks

I just want to thank everyone who joined us this past Saturday, it was great.

The fishing was tough with Johan Knoetze hooking the only two trout out of 11 anglers in the bottom dam, both snapped him. Jasper also hooked and lost a big tilapia. We had a draw and three anglers shared the entry fee cash.

Grant and MC demonstrated some of their great fly patterns and all learned something from these guys.

The Accuracy casting was won by Mr. Kevin Cox, who casted with a 3 wt. from 10m away, 15cm from the target. The Distance casting was won by Mr. Grant Kieser who casted 23.84m with a 8wt.

Afterwards we had the raffle draw and burned some wood.

    Below some pics.
