    How exactly does the steaming thing work? Do you place a bowl with the mixture in it inside a pot of steaming water?

    I would also like to know about the steaming thing Chris, been dreaming of making this bread for a week now, I want to stop damaging the key board by all the drool falling on it.

    Not yet, been away till today. Will fry one up for brekkies on Sunday.

    I've never tried it myself. I got the recipe from my old friend, Tannie Evita Bezuidenhoud

    Have a look at my follow up post after I posted the recipe, it gives tips on steaming....straight from the old duck's mouth

    Well, I'm glad it's from the old duck's 'mouth' - otherwise you may end up with bits of CDC in the bread...
