    Another easy/convenient natural material for wingcases on nymphs is plain ol goose biots.I discovered it by chance recently.

    Tie it in with flat/smooth side facing the hook shank and bring over,simple as that.No more worrying about difference in width's.

    I like using a brown biot on GRHE's.

    This might be stating the obvious, too many flytiers tie marabou tails without support on the hook bend, leading to fouling tails.

    Tie in a sparse bunch of calftail, deerhair or a mono loop before tying in the marabou to support the marabou and prevent the tail from fouling the hook bend during casting.
