Ahh Cool!! I can't wait to hear the stories when he gets back!
Hi Grant, Tim mentioned something about the flies but we forgot about it. But your flies worked well. We caught plenty of rainbows and browns from 3 to 4 lbs, all sight fishing. I'll post some more pics here when I get them.
No problem at all taking Tim out - he's a good sport. My dad may be taking him out in the Waikato next week.

theres bigger fish than that in smaller rivers that smalblaar. in fact, in NZ, the biggest fish live in the headwaters of all the rivers, so very small streams and very big fish.
When does Tim get back? Can't wait to hear about his trip. its a special year in new zealand
Tim sent me an email about a guided trip he did near Queenstown.
Here's some of the fish he caught:

I love the hump on the second fishes back... awesome stuff Tim! Thanks for posting Grant.... give me a call today if you get a chance, I have something to ask you...
Some of Tim's pics from our trip. Yes, he did catch all the fish! Actually he is a good fisherman so it was a pleasure spotting for him knowing he could deliver the cast.
