Free movement for Mayflies spesificly yes.Whenever there's MF on rocks,in the water I fish MF without beads case closed.I'm talking summer nymphing here. Dry 'n Dropper might require a beaded MF.

Not if you fish fluoro on the dropper, it helps

I also like small unweighted point flies, loathe to tie a bead onto any MF smaller than #14.

Nice ones Dirk. Smallies especially like anything with blue/purple flashback like your 9th pic of the stonefly.

    Hi Dleroux.

Those are some really nice patterns you have tied! If you dont mind me asking what is the material you used for the body on the 3rd and 5th fly! It looks like foam to me, not to sure if it is?

    Hi Rod,

    Thx for the comments

The 2 flies you're referring to was tied with rubber bands. You buy them in packs with multi colors (cream, green, red and yellow) got mine @ Pick & Pay for 10 bucks..

First you tie the Rekkie Caddis, then you eventually progress to tying the FL Caddis.

Moet net nie flavoured condoms gebruik nie, die ouens reken dis erger as om jou vlieg in marmite te doop.
