Arrow Matching the hatch - Articulated brush flies.

Imitating local Minnow species during selective feeding times can be hard at times but these Impressionistic Articulated brush flies makes it really easy. The added movement of the second (back) hook (tail) gives the fly an unmatched “s” movement. A great additional trigger!

I’ll add additional Barbs and juvenile Barbel in a week or so.

    Enjoy!

    Baby LM Bass.

    Southernmouth Brooder. (Female)

    Banded Tilapia. (Male)

    Straightfin Barb.

Some useless info but if you're not into stats please don't comment or read further.

For this tying binge I used 96 brushes of 20cm long. Whenever I needed flash I opted for SF blend. For zero flash I used Mirror Image. In total I used 96 hooks. (8 flies per imitation x 6 imitations x 2 hooks each = 96 hooks)

I am planning on adding 2 or 3 more colours cause they just look flippen awesome! An all purpose Minnow and a leke flashy attractor.

    Baie mooi Gertjie.

Ek sien dat selfs die 2de hoek 'n weedguard aan het.

    Baie skerp.

Jy moet vir my so een of 2 samples stuur.
Ek weet van 'n dam of 2 waar hulle baie goed sal werk.
Of bring vir my, dan neem ek jou soontoe.
