Watookal die maklikste is tot in Ceres vir jou.
Wellington, Gouda, Tulbagh Ceres of N1 Rawsonville, Goudini, Slanghoek oor die laagwater brug is my gunsteling pad.
Ceres is 1 uur en 20 tot 30 min. Vanaf Ceres is dit 125km.
Die eerste 30 of so km uit Ceres is teerpad, dan is dit grondpad.
Baie goeie grondpad. Tot by die groot trekker binneband is dit + - 110km vanaf Ceres. Die laaste stuk pad oor die plaas, is baie beter as 'n klompie jare terug, redelik onlangs geskraap. Ek weet hier in middel Feb was daar 'n rekelike groot "flashflood", weet nie of die baie gespoel het nie. As die stukkie pad rof is kan dit redelik lank neem om te ry.

Wat ek altyd doen, is om vir die die Hough's te bel netvoor ek ry en te vra of hulle iets uit die dorp nodig het.
Party keer is dit 4 liter Oros of 8l Coke ens.
Dink net hoe erg moet dit wees as die naaste kafee 125km is.
As hulle iets nodig het, is dit nie baie nie, en dit neem nie soveel plek op nie.
Plus hulle is baie dankbaar vir die gunsie. Hulle betaal dan vir die produkte by aflewering.

one of the forumers went to Die Mond, first week in March.
They did not see a Clanwilliam or sawfin, but had great bass fishing.

and a couple slightly smaller.
Must still measure the exact size.

did they get em deep/sub-surface or on top?

Most of the big ones in water deeper than crotch.
With all the walking, and stalking, a lot of the fish are caught after 09:00. Which tend to make the go down and deeper, I think.
