    Try any craft or art shop - they usually have in 1 and 2mm size, in a wide range of colours, for the scrapbook ladies.

    Sometimes also the 3mm, but you may have to look harder, and you usually don't find the full colour range.

    Funnily enough, I find white the hardest colour to find (so buy it when you see it), and once when I was tying some really small flippers, I used those foam circles that you get in the bulk spindle packs of CD and DVD blanks. Cut straight across the one side, you get a piece that's about 20mm long and 4mm wide...perfect for my wee ones.

    Thats not a bad idea seeing as we have no flyfishing shops in our area.

    A product called float a bait is available at most bait fishing stores, works well and is a bit thicker and available in a couple of colours.

    Its apparent that white foam works very well.

    However failing that try tying a few in pink foam. Nailed the leery at breede with that colour one christmas.
    It was chaos.
