    Default Vaal flow rate

    anyone know what the flow is like below barrage to schoemans drif. is it fishable without washing down river.

    Was definitely higher than 30, probably somewhere between 45 and 50, even with 4mm Tungsten on a very slim profile control fly you battled to fish the faster water.

    Where we were in Ben joh area it was definitely about 50

    Default woelwaters

    I was at woelwaters on sunday and the water looked much higher than 50 cumecs,most rocks were covered.There was very little visibility maybe 5cm.Got there at 6am and left at 10am managed to hook and lose a decent fish right infront of arends other than that zip.got home at 10:30 had breakfast and a cat nap then took the wife shopping in the afternoon.
