    Default Blesbok Spruit

    Hi guys,

I had a chat to a very well known springbok ff who evidently claims that there are some LM yellows in the blesbok.. Is this true? Now I know of SM yellows there which I used to catch when I was still living in Nigel and bass, so the question of yellows, definitely!

Has any1 caught a LM yellow there or know of someone who has?

    Thanks

    G

I have heard of a largie coming out there, but haven't really fished it myself...bit hesitant fishing it these days with all that acid water seeping in from the mine..

As far as I know, Terry Babich caught some LM there before.
I know of SM, Carp, Barbel and Bass that have come out.....

It`s by Terry that I have heard this..

@Ryan, which side do you fish at? More up stream behind Nigel sports ground it still looks good enough to fish.. ?

Do any of you test water alkalinity for safety? What are the dangers of this?

Nigel is not such lekker spot anymore, too much rubbish in the river there. Pity though, used to be a nice little stream.....

    Went to Blesbok on Sunday
Only 2 yellows came out. They were interested in a black caddis.
We fished in Heidelberg spot X. The water is dirty and water level is fairly high.

Mine water is starting to flow into the river. Last year there were only puddles but now it is starting to flow continuously into the river.
