Just teasing, dude the Vaal is the Vaal, venues above parys don't REALLY differ that much from one to the next, you will get fish everywhere, but having confidence in your tackle, flies, technique and to a lesser extent ... venue ... will see you getting into fish.

Fishing on the Vaal above parys is cooking at the moment, so go dunk those flies of yours.

Hopefully someone who has fished Arend's recently can give you some more advice.

I was at Arends about a month ago. Lots of rocksnot, water cool, fish in the deeper water. We indicator nymphed. An orange beadhead mayfly nymph did the most damage.

Arendsnes is AWESOME at the moment. Plenty of big fish, easy wading, water is ideal.

I heard the same thing Mike. I'd hate to overcrowd it for anyone though, so maybe we'll try another venue this weekend?
