    any recomendations for selfcatering or B&B accomodotation near Calitzdorp that also have access to fishing on the property?

    i haven not stayed in any other places than at the dam at Fish Eagle camp
    grounds. If you go onto the web and puch in Calitzdorp there are quite a few
    links and they have there own little web page of the town and what and where to stay.

    I will be going up to the Garden route closer to Christmas, and will try and get a couple of days near Calitzdorp. Im not particularly intertested in the dam though, going to get to the rivers rather.

    Question

    Hi Andre,
    any tips on where to go to get to the rivers in the area, would be keen
    to explore this weekend while i am down there. Do you head up stream or down?

    I actually want to visit this area during DEC as a get away to fish if not to crowded. This area has great fruit as well, better than ''cabbage water''.

    Well at least i wont go hungry the weekend , will give some feedback
    if i find any spots up or down stream
