Wow.... cool!
...to find yourself in a situation like this

Wow.... cool!
Now you see this is the kind of thing that might just get me interested in saltwater flyfishing.
Fishing is just my thing. I don't know what it is but it seems that i just can't get enough of it.
Totally nuts man. I would go into convultions I swear. Swallow my tongue or something.
" Not tonight baby! I gotta fly"
What would i give......
I'll hack out my left nut with a spoon![]()

Awesome!
10 years back we had similar action whilst fishing from shore, artificial lures, in Inhaca island Mozambique. Massive fish around, got some gt on popper... I recall hooking a monster,, we got back on the boat and tried to land or even just turn the beast, but after 20 min we had it under the boat but it refused to come up, and then the fish was off, never got a glimpse of it despite the clear water...
Years ago I went up to Pomene, and on our first day we went to the estuary mouth on a pushing tide, not quite knowing what to expect. For about 2 hours there were a number of baitballs getting SMASHED by kingies and barracuda, but they only got within casting distance a few times. Huge fun when fish fever hits!![]()
You are a perishable item. Live accordingly.
I once fished a similar situation at St Lucia, but unfortunately I was experimenting with the whole dropshot thing at that stage. Massive shoal of Skip Jack Tuna (probably 100m long by 50m wide) was just moving towards the North with the water boiling along the way. We followed them with about 8 fish landed between two of us before they started moving to deeper water.
I would give my right nut to have my flyrod there next time!!!
