    Thanks Bryan and Jules,

    It's gonna have to wait a while unfortunately. I'll see what I can come up with in July. Really,I'm not being funny here but it's gonna take me atleast 4-6 hours to put it up,time which I don't have currently.

    The most important steps and features of these flies are as follows;

    1.Type of hook. Straight eyed or ring eyed hooks are a must.
    2. The type of brush and it's density. The brushes I see on the forum are too dense and too thick. To give u an idea I get to complete 8 flies in #4 (the front hook) with one packet of SF.
    3. I don't use thread at all. Use fine monofilament thread. Rule 1 in synthetics.
    4. Use wire for the connection and also how you connect the the wire is important.

    Then a few tying steps in a very particular order;

    1.Tie in weed guard of the back hook.
    2.Tie in brush and wrap forward.Remove hook and shape tail.
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------
    3.Insert front hook.
    4.Tie in wire and connect the back hook. (A whole lot of measuring takes place during this step,the loop of the wire is 1.6cm from the hook point of the front hook) Howzit Jules!
    5.Tie in weed guard.
    6.Tie in brush and wrap.
    7.Shape front hook so that it blends with back hook.(Tail)
    8.Marking pens
    9.Glue on eyes.

    Hope it helps somewhat!

    Can you provide more info on how you tie in the wire onto the primary hook.

    Do you just fold it over and tie it in? Is there not a risk of this slipping out if you hook a big one on the back hook?

    Never in a million years,your tippet will pop first. I use 25lb-29lb wire and its folded back through the eye of the hook,wrapped tight and glued pappa!.Will try and draw a pic otherwise I can go take a snap of it 2morrow or so ok.

    G...what about a Bulldog pattern and trying to trim the tail to the same shape as the real macoy. Tigers will love it...suppose they will shred the fly though.
