Columbia. That is all. As good as Simms, just without the label stigma

"Dry" cold weather - k-way thermals, a long sleeve breathable shirt and a columbia parka with removable fleece liner.

Rain or tubing in the cold - k-way thermals, long sleeve breathable shirt and a sage skagit river wading jacket.

I use one of the Cape Storm Skiing jackets. It is brilliant for the cold winters in the mountains or rainy days on the beach. Besides that i also have a Cape Storm soft shell (but don't usually use it for fishing) and the Monsoon lightweight raincoat for long river hikes (to keep weight down).

Most of the stuff underneath that is either Cape Storm, Columbia or First Ascent, plus some lekker CCC Spandex (Hot & Cold ones).

Oh ja, and most importantly, my Cyclone Buff goes everywhere with me too! The ultimate beanie!
